About Me

Hair is my craft, my community, a huge part of my life. Twenty-six years of working with my hands in a creative environment have brought me so much joy and fulfillment.

The greatest part is building relationships with my clients. I have had the pleasure of making a difference in how people feel about themselves through their appearance, and I’m honored. My clients have made a big impact on my life, as I continue to grow and expand through this experience.

I immediately knew that hairdressing was my path in beauty school. My first love was color. I enjoyed chemistry and working with the laws of color. There’s nothing better than seeing fresh, vibrant hair color at the end of the service. It was when I completed the Toni&Guy Training Program at Salon Jo-El in Phoenix, that I understood haircutting on a new level: Blending together the total concept of texture through cut, and dimension through color.

In San Francisco, I first came to teach advanced haircutting while at Grasshopper Salon — elevating my own cutting skills. I started up the color program there and discovered that I was passionate about teaching… Which led to opening my own salon: Adollup. As an owner, I developed leadership skills and the grit it takes to be a business owner. After five years of ownership, I walked away with a tremendous amount of experience under my belt.

After the pandemic shutdown, I landed in the gorgeous Space 1265, doing exactly what I love…Hair. I’m grateful to be working again, seeing clients and once again establishing the powerful, meaningful connection of looking good and feeling your best.
